Clint Dempsey to leave Tottenham

Tottenham have agreed a fee with a Major League Soccer side for Clint Dempsey.

Dempsey, 30, joined Spurs from Fulham last year for around £6million. The US international player scored 12 in 43 games for the White Hart Lane club.

The forward, who captains the United States, is expected to join Seattle Sounders.
