Croatia make one change to the side that beat Cameroon 4-0 on Wednesday, with Sammir replaced by Sime Vrsaljko.

Southampton’s Dejan Lovren starts for the Croatians, who also name the former Spurs trio of Luka Modric, Vedran Corluka and goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa in their starting eleven.

Arsenal target Mario Mandzukic will look to add to the two goals he scored against Cameroon in his only tournament appearance so far.

Mexico name an unchanged side from the team that drew 0-0 with Brazil, with Manchester United’s Javier Hernandez on the bench and ex-Spurs attacker Giovani dos Santos lining up for the Central Americans.

Croatia need a win to qualify, while Mexico could top the group if they win and Brazil slip up against Cameroon.

Croatia: Pletikosa; Vrsaljko, Lovren, Corluka, Pranjic; Srna, Rakitic, Modric, Perisic; Mandzukic, Olic.

Mexico: Ochoa; Aguilar, Rodriguez, Marquez, Moreno, Layun; Herrera, Guardado, Dos Santos, Vazquez; Peralta.
