Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe today revealed the Premier League minnows are taking inspiration from Crystal Palace.

The south coast club, playing in the top flight for the first time in their history, are unbeaten in five games and have won their last three against Chelsea, Manchester United and West Brom.

They face high-flying Palace on Boxing Day and Howe said: “We very much respect Crystal Palace and the work that Alan Pardew has done there. They will prove a tough test.

“They’re a club that we look at and would like to emulate.”
