Crystal Palace are yet to make a further offer for Patrick van Aanholt, Sunderland manager David Moyes said today.
Palace have already had a £7million bid for Van Aanholt rejected by Sunderland, with Sam Allardyce desperate to sign defenders this month.
Moyes does not want to lose Van Aanholt and said Sunderland have not received any more bids for the full-back.
“No there has not been any more bids,” said Moyes this morning.
Palace face Everton tomorrow, with Allardyce looking to build on the midweek FA Cup win over Bolton. The Eagles are above the relegation zone only on goal difference.
Allardyce has added further to his backroom team at Palace with the appointment of Dr Ryland Morgans as head of performance.
Morgans has previously worked at Liverpool and is the current head of performance for the Wales national team.
Allardyce said: “I am delighted that Ryland has joined us, we are very fortunate to have somebody with such knowledge and experience in all aspects of the game and he is an invaluable addition to my backroom team.”

Maarten Stekelenburg is now fully fit after missing five games with a dead leg but Joel Robles has seized his chance in the Dutch stopper’s absence and may well keep his place.
Leighton Baines is suffering with a slight rib complaint but should be fit, leaving Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Mohamed Besic and Yannick Bolasie as Everton’s only injury absentees.
