Crystal Palace XI vs Everton: Confirmed early team news, predicted lineup, latest injuries for Premier League game

Crystal Palace are looking to make it three wins from three games when they host Everton this afternoon.

The Eagles have made a flying start to the season despite manager Roy Hodgson having to deal with a shortage of defenders thanks to an early injury crisis.

Midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate has had to fill in at the back, first alongside Scott Dann before the Englishman picked up a knock and was replaced by Mamadou Sakho at Manchester United.

The pairing from Old Trafford are likely to remain together against the in-form Toffees this weekend, while Hodgson has also welcomed striker Christian Benteke back from injury.

However, with the forward line in fine form in Manchester last weekend, it makes little sense for Hodgson - never a manager for drastic changes - to mix things up on Saturday.

Andros Townsend, who has a goal and an assist from two games this season, and Wilfried Zaha will be looking to continue their fine starts to the season.

Predicted Crystal Palace XI to face Everton (4-4-2): Guaita; Ward, Kouyate, Sakho, Mitchell; Townsend, McArthur, McCarthy, Schlupp; Zaha, Ayew
