Crystal Palace XI vs Leicester: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup and latest injuries for Premier League

1/21

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson will be able to call upon Christian Benteke to lead the line once more at Leicester City this afternoon.

The Belgian, who had been in good form before the shutdown and featured in the 2-0 win at Bournemouth in Palace's first game back, has been absent with a strain for the defeats to Liverpool and Burnley.

In his absence, Jordan Ayew has been playing through the middle, but the Palace top scorer is far more of a threat from the wing while Benteke also brings the best out of Wilfried Zaha.

Palace have been goal-shy all season, while Benteke's troubles are well documented. But Hodgson will be hoping the forward can continue on the curve that saw him force his way back into the starting XI before football was brought to a halt.

Martin Kelly is also making progress as he looks to return to fitness, though Gary Cahill and Scott Dann are likely to continue at the back.

Crystal Palace predicted XI (4-3-3): Guaita; Ward, Dann, Cahill, Van Aanholt; Milivojevic, McArthur, Kouyate; Ayew, Zaha, Benteke
