Wilfried Zaha says Crystal Palace’s new depth of attacking options has eased the burden on him and allowed him to shine.

The forward scored twice as Palace beat Leicester 4-1 away on Saturday. Zaha has now got four in three games after previously not finding the net since September.

The 26-year-old’s hot streak has coincided with the arrival of Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi on loan for the rest of the season.

Christian Benteke is now back to full fitness, too.

Zaha explained: “Before, me and Andros [Townsend] had to scramble up top trying the best we can but now there’s so many options.

"It makes such a difference when we take our time with the final pass and hitting the target is then the main thing.”

Palace's win at the King Power Stadium - a result which saw Leicester boss Claude Puel shown the door - has moved the Londoners six points clear of the relegation zone.
