West Ham defender Danny Gabbidon faces possible Football Association sanctions after using his Twitter page to abuse fans after Saturday's 2-1 loss to Aston Villa.
Gabbidon has now closed down his page but wrote: "U know what, f*** the lot of you, u will never get another tweet from me again, you just don't get it do you. Bye bye."
West Ham are two points from safety with five games to play.
