Danny Rose has become the latest Tottenham player to commit his long-term future to the club, signing a new five-year contract.

The England left-back follows the likes of Christian Eriksen, Eric Dier and Dele Alli in signing new deals over the past month as Tottenham look to tie down Mauricio Pochettino’s youthful squad for their best years.

“It’s been a great couple of week for the club with Dele, Eric, Christian, Harry Winks all signing contracts,” Rose said.

"Everyone knows that the Club is going in the right direction and I'm over the moon that I'll stay here until I'm an old man."

Rose said earlier this month that he hoped to end his career at Tottenham and the full-back will be approaching his 31st birthday when his new contract expires.

The likes of Kyle Walker and Erik Lamela are also expected to sign new contracts in the coming weeks.
