Dany N’Guessan eyeing move

Kenny Jackett today admitted that striker Dany N’Guessan wants to leave Millwall and join Charlton.

The 25-year-old, who has also been linked with Sheffield Wednesday, was left out of the squad for last night’s 2-1 win against Peterborough and Jackett said: “Dany’s not happy at the club and he does want to move on. It’s a tough situation because he wants to go to Charlton but we’ve had better offers from other clubs.

“I decided to go with Darius Henderson and Andy Keogh at the start of the season. That’s my choice.”

Goals either side of half-time from George Boyd and Henderson saw Millwall come from behind at London Road to pick up their first win of the season.

“We had a disappointing start when being beaten at home at the weekend, but this match could not come quickly enough for us.

“It was ideal to have the opportunity to put things right a few days later and that is exactly what we did.

“This should provide belief that we can have a good season.”
