David Luiz was part of Chelsea's preparations in Baku as the team trained ahead of their Champions League clash with Qarabag.

Antonio Conte and his Chelsea squad made the long trip to Azerbaijan on Monday before the players were put through their paces in Baku on Tuesday afternoon.

Among those present was Luiz, who was recently omitted from Conte's matchday squad for the Premier League game against Manchester United in early November.

He was recalled to Conte's squad for Chelsea's league game away to West Brom on Saturday, but failed to get onto the pitch as Andreas Christensen played the entirety of the 4-0 win at the Hawthorns.

However, Luiz could get some game time on Wednesday when Chelsea take on Qarabag in what is their penultimate Champions League Group C game.

Conte has the dilemma of whether to rest some of his regular starters ahead of taking on Liverpool in the Premier League this Saturday or start his strongest team in the hope of beating Qarabag and securing qualification to the knockout stages of the Champions League.
