David Stockdale is still part of Jol's plans at Fulham

11 April 2012

Fulham manager Martin Jol today told keeper David Stockdale to forget about making his loan move to Ipswich permanent.

The 26-year-old has twice been called up to the England squad but is yet to make his debut and is on a season-long loan at Portman Road.

Jol said: "He's part of our plans, but I've got another great goalkeeper [Mark Schwarzer] who's one of the best.

"David's our player. We identified him and took him, so hopefully everybody's happy in the future."

Jol will be without defender Aaron Hughes for tomorrow's clash at Wigan.

The Northern Ireland international picked up a thigh injury during last weekend's defeat to Everton and joins Orlando Sa (hamstring) and Simon Davies (knee) on the sidelines while Switzerland's Philippe Senderos was having his thigh injury assessed today.
