Dele Alli and Eric Dier may be best friends but the 20-year-old is clearly not a fan of his Tottenham teammate's fashion sense.

The pair have formed a close bond during their spell at Spurs and are anything but afraid to take aim at each other.

There has been light-hearted mud slinging aplenty throughout the fledgling bromance.

Now the agenda has turned to fashion. And Alli hasn't held back.

"He needs to get some clothes that fit him," Alli told Sky Sports. "Everything is too big.

"His T-shirts are either really long and thin or really wide and short. I don't know what's going on with them."

Meanwhile, Harry Kane does not appear to suffer from the same problem as Dier in regards to oversized garments.

The Spurs striker, who is seeking a new contract that would give him parity with the best Premier League forwards, prefers things a little tighter.

"Harry Kane is probably the biggest pain," Alli explained when asked to identify the Spurs kitman's nemesis.

"He's quite a big lad but he likes all of his clothes extra tight so it must be hard for the kitman to get the right size."

Alli may not have lavished praise on his countryman but he did have some kind words for Mousa Dembele, whom he believes is the best player in Mauricio Pochettino's squad.
