Denmark vs Tunisia: World Cup 2022 prediction, kick off time today, TV, live stream, team news, h2h, odds

Jonathan Gorrie22 November 2022

Denmark, a team many have tipped as tournament ‘dark horses, today begin their World Cup against Tunisia.

While the feelgood tag placed on Kasper Hjulmand’s side is often talked about following the triumphant Christian Eriksen story, who less than 18 months ago died on the pitch at Euro 2020, there are plenty more reasons to cheer on Denmark.

After all, this is a team who were a dubious penalty away from taking England to a shootout in their own back garden, before beating world champions France in convincing fashion.

Tipped as dark horses, it’s going to be fascinating to see them in Qatar.

Opponents Tunisia, meanwhile, haven’t been given much of a chance in Group D, although are more than experienced in tournament football. If there’s ever a team to make life difficult for Denmark, it would appear to be them.

Here’s everything you need to know about the game.

Date, kick-off time and venue

The World Cup game is scheduled for a 1pm GMT kick-off time today, Tuesday November 22, 2022.

The Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan will host.

Denmark vs Tunisia prediction

England struggled against Tunisia four years ago, such is their ability to sit deep and defend.

Still, with the quality Eriksen possesses from dead-ball positions, Denmark don’t particularly need to be free-flowing and expansive. They can hurt teams from anywhere.

Denmark to win 1-0.
