Dimitri Payet cleaned up at West Ham's end of season awards last night, winning five individual prizes to cap a superb debut season in English football.

The 29-year-old joined the Hammers from Marseille last summer and has firmly established himself as a key member of Slaven Bilic's side, who are still competing to secure a place in Europe.

Payet's flamboyance - and flawless technique - has instantly struck a chord with the east London faithful and he embodies what many fans hope will prove to be a bold new era at the Olympic Stadium.

It's a team game, of course, but Payet stole the show ahead of his teammates with an enviable trophy haul which included top goalscorer.

Payet has scored 12 goals this term and his memorable free kick against Crystal Palace was also named goal of the season.

Payet made it a hat-trick when his teammates voted him players' player of the year.

He's a popular chap, isn't he?

Signing of the season?

Sorry Angelo Ogbonna, Michail Antonio, Pedro Obiang, Sam Byram and Darren Randolph - there was only ever going to be one winner.

Payet completed his memorable trophy haul with the prestigious 'Hammer of the Year' award.

He's probably going to need a new mantelpiece.
