Moving on: Eidur Gudjohnsen joined Barcelona from Chelsea in 2006

Monaco have reached an agreement with Barcelona for the transfer of Eidur Gudjohnsen to the French club.
The fee for the 30-year-old Iceland international could rise to £1.8million depending on performances, the Spaniards have confirmed.
Gudjohnsen joined Barca from Chelsea in 2006 and although he was unable to tie down a regular first-team spot at the Nou Camp, he played 72 league games and helped the Catalan giants win the Champions League, Primera Division and Copa del Rey last season.
