Euro 2016: Eric Dier and Adam Lallana stand out as we rate every England player's tournament so far

1/24

England moved to the top of Group B with a last-gasp victory over Wales in Lens on Thursday.

After surrendering two points in the last minute of their opener against Russia, the England team travelled to the Stade Bollaert-Delelis knowing only victory would kickstart their tournament.

But Roy Hodgson's job was seemingly on the line at half-time when his side trailed to Gareth Bale's second free kick in as many matches.

The Real Madrid forward struck a 35-yard set-piece in trademark style to find the corner, though England goalkeeper Joe Hart will feel he should've done better after scampering across his line in vain.

It was at the interval when Hodgson arguably made the boldest call of his England reign to date and opted to throw on Jamie Vardy and Daniel Sturridge in place of the largely ineffective pair Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling.

After Vardy had restored parity shortly after the break, Manchester United youngster Marcus Rashford made his bow at a major tournament as a re-energised England threw everything at Chris Coleman's side.

And the England pressure told in injury time, when Sturridge, Vardy and Dele Alli combined to waltz through the Welsh defence and secure their first three points of the tournament.

But how has each England player fared across both Group B matches so far? Scroll through our gallery at the top of the article to find out.
