Hugo Lloris is confident France can deal with the pressure of being hosts at Euro 2016.

Les Bleus kick off their campaign against Romania at the Stade de France tomorrow night and the stakes are high for Didier Deschamps' side.

France won the the World Cup in 1998 the last time they staged a major tournament on home soil and the current side will be expected to replicate the heroes of 18 years ago.

The pressure to perform in front of an expectant home can often prove to be a hindrance but Lloris believes the French public will help to spur his side on.

“It maybe did not help Brazil at the World Cup in 2014 but for us the public are going to be a great support,” insisted the Spurs goalkeeper.

France have also been drawn against Albania and Switzerland in Group A and have been installed as clear favourites to progress to the knock-out stages of the tournament.
