FA Cup draw: Manchester City face Wigan in repeat of 2013 final

Alex Kalinauckas16 February 2014

Manchester City will face Wigan Athletic in a repeat of last season’s FA Cup final after being drawn against the holders in the quarter-finals.

City will be hoping to avenge last season’s cup final loss to Wigan as they look to accomplish their goal of securing four trophies this campaign.

The second all-Premier League quarter-final will see Arsenal take on Everton at the Emirates after both advanced to the last eight on Sunday.

Sunderland manager Gus Poyet could make a dramatic return to Brighton & Hove Albion if the Seagulls can come through their fifth-round fixture against Hull City on Monday night. Poyet was sacked as Brighton manager at the end of last season before joining Sunderland in October.

The fourth quarter-final could also be Sheffield derby after the Blades overcame Nottingham Forest on Sunday, provided Sheffield Wednesday beat Charlton Athletic in their postponed fifth-round tie.

Full draw:

Arsenal v Everton

Brighton or Hull v Sunderland

Sheffield United v Sheffield Wednesday or Charlton

Manchester City v Wigan
