Fabregas, David Luiz and Bacary Sagna - the summer's best Premier League transfers so far

Best buy: Chelsea land former Arsenal captain Fabregas
Charlie Eccleshare13 June 2014

The World Cup has barely begun and already there have been a number of high profile transfers – with Chelsea typically one of the most active clubs.

The West London club have parted with around £27m to sign the former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas, but will recoup almost double that through the sale of Brazilian centre-back David Luiz.

Arsenal declined the chance to buy back their one-time talisman, and the Emirates club has also seen one of its most consistent performers Bacary Sagna leave for Manchester City on a free transfer. Sagna follows Kolo Toure, Emmanuel Adebayor, Gael Clichy and Samir Nasri in swapping North London for Eastlands over the past few years.

So sit back and enjoy, as we bring you the best of the summer's signings so far!
