First lots from West Ham's Boleyn Ground auction are sold, including £200 'urine sample reminder' sign

West Ham fans have snapped up the first lots from the Boleyn Ground auction this morning - including a 'urine sample reminder sign.'

The Hammers said farewell to their home of 112 years in May and are set to move into the Olympic Stadium ahead of next season.

While the club's decision to relocate has been heralded as an opportunity to help Slaven Bilic's side compete with the Premier League elite it has also given supporters a chance to secure their very own piece of West Ham history.

An array of items from the ground, which will be the setting for a Hollywood action movie before it is demolished, have been made available.

"This summer’s Farewell Boleyn Auction presents Hammers fans with a unique opportunity to become the proud new owner of a precious West Ham United keepsake as the Club prepares to embark on an exciting new chapter in Hammers history," read a statement on the club's official website.

Dugout seats, corner flags and nets are still to be sold but the hammer has already been brought down on several somewhat stranger items.

The 'urine sample' reminder was originally housed outside the first-team's medical room and was purchased for £200 by an unknown bidder.

A pair of stainless steel handrails leading up to the officials' room and a precision digital clock also have new homes.

So too does a used Dualit 6 Slice Toaster, which sold for a whopping £180.

However, Sam Allardyce's former Kyocera Ecosys FS-C5150DN Analysis Printer, remains unsold.
