We're underway for the new season and Premier League managers are getting a first glimpse of their new signings, while earmarking areas that still need strengthening before the transfer window shuts.

The shutters are up, the doors are open, as clubs around the world scramble, plot and scheme in the market.

Petr Cech has left Chelsea and arrived at Arsenal, Radamel Falcao has made his way to Stamford Bridge – while Jose Mourinho hopes he gets his man in Everton's John Stones.

Liverpool have been active, while Manchester City have made the biggest signing with the £49 million deal for Raheem Sterling and the £32.5m arrival of Christian Benteke.

Manchester United have signed Memphis Depay, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin to name but a few, and Louis van Gaal could be set to add a couple more.
