Celtic may have a future talent on their hands after handing 13-year-old Karamoko Dembele a debut in the Under-20s earlier this week, but Galatasaray have gone one better with 14-year-old wonderkid Mustafa Kapi.
The Turkish Super Lig side were 2-0 up against Levski Sofia in Saturday night's friendly, and head coach Jan Olde Riekerink decided to hand Kapi - born in 2002 - his full senior debut with a minute to go.
The 14-year-old was brought on in the 89th minute as Galatasaray saw out the victory, with Kapi later running over to Dutch boss Olde Riekerink to thank him for the extraordinary debut with a hug.
Kapi is, unsurprisingly, the youngest ever player to feature for Galatarasary's first team, and big things are clearly expected of him.
It's been a big week for spotting potential wonderkids of the future, with former Chelsea player-manager Ruud Gullit has praised Celtic's Dembele after seeing footage of the 13-year-old on YouTube.
Dembele made headlines after coming off the bench for the club's Under-20s side in a 3-1 win over Hearts.
The London-born forward is eligible to play for Scotland, England and Ivory Coast - where his parents originate from - and, after seeing a highlights reel of the youngster's skills on YouTube, Gullit admits he has been left impressed by Dembele's talents.
"Scotland don’t have many great players at the moment - but they do have a new 13-year-old, who looks pretty special," Gullit, who became the youngest player to debut in the Eredivisie when he featured for FC Haarlem as a 16-year-old, said.
Celtic’s Head of Youth, Chris McCart, admitted the youngster - who joined the club in July 2013 - has a bright future ahead of him but insisted he must be allowed time to develop without too much pressure on his shoulders.
