Former Arsenal attacker Lukas Podolski has endeared himself again to Gunners fans a year after leaving the north London club by mocking rivals Tottenham.

Podolski moved to Galatasaray last summer, but the World Cup winner still has a soft spot for the side he spent three years at.

The Germany international is fondly remembered in the red side of north London, even saying early on in his Arsenal career that he could get a tattoo about the Gunners.

And, after Spurs’ 2-2 draw with Chelsea on Monday night ended Tottenham's hopes of winning the league this season, the former Gooner tweeted: "Leicester is champion and London is red #COYG".

Podolski wasn’t the only Arsenal-related player to rejoice in their rival's woes, with youth player Julio Pleguezuelo taking to social media to make fun of Tottenham too.

Podolski played 82 games for the Gunners, scoring 31 times, including in a 5-2 victory over Spurs in 2012.
