Former England manager Sam Allardyce renamed St George’s Park WIFI connection 'Big Sam’s Office’

Sam Allardyce only lasted 67 days as England manager, but he had already started making his mark at St. George's Park.

The 61-year-old oversaw just one game as Three Lions boss and while there was little evidence of a marked change on the pitch during the 1-0 victory against Slovakia last month, Allardyce had already started tweaking the way things were done under predecessor Roy Hodgson.

Comedians Bradley Walsh and Paddy McGuiness were drafted in during the last international break to boost morale and Allardyce had planned similar events at the England base over the coming months before he departed the role.

In a similar bid to encourage a positive atmosphere, Allardyce sent signed postcards to his squad last week with the message 'Our Journey Has Begun'.

But perhaps the biggest alteration Allardyce made during his short reign as England boss was to change the name of the WIFI source at his St. George's Park office.

According to the Daily Mail, the former West Ham manager renamed the connection 'BIG SAM'S OFFICE'.

The internet source is no longer detectable following Allardyce's departure.

He lost his job after just 67 days in charge having being caught on camera telling undercover journalists, posing as fake businessman, how to circumvent Football Association rules on third party ownership of players.

Press Conference with England interim Manager Gareth Southgate

Gareth Southgate will take charge of the next four England matches and on Monday said: "I have to say I'm involved in a sport that I love and an industry that at times I don't like.

"The detail of what happened last week, I'm not too au fait with. I've heard names mentioned and bits of information but I don't have the detail so I don't think I can speculate about what might or might not have happened.

"There's lots about the industry of football that I don't like but it's a sport I love, representing my country was something I loved and they're the bits I have to focus on."
