From Luis Garcia and Dietmar Hamann to Harry Kewell: Where are Liverpool's 2005 Champions League winners 10 years on?

It’s 10 years since Steven Gerrard inspired his Liverpool side to turnaround a 3-0 half-time deficit to AC Milan and win the 2005 Champions League final on penalties.

Jerzy Dudek proved to be the Reds’ hero that day as he saved spot-kick efforts from Andrea Pirlo and Andriy Shevchenko, while his goal-line antics distracted Serginho enough to see him power his effort over the cross-bar.

The Reds would go on to meet AC Milan in the final again two years later, but this time the Italian side would prevail, and the two clubs remain among the most successful sides in Europe with Milan winning the famous trophy on seven occasions compared to Liverpool’s five, bettered only by Real Madrid’s 10 European Cups and Bayern Munich’s five.

But with the 10-year anniversary of Liverpool’s success coming on Monday 25 May, we take a look back at what happened to the side that triumphed in Istanbul.
