Fulham close in on Justin Kluivert with ace ready to reject European football to fulfill Premier League dream

Fulham are edging closer to the signing of Roma's Justin Kluivert, who has told the newly-promoted club he wants to move to Craven Cottage.

The 23-year-old winger is willing to reject interest from French sides Marseille and Nice to realise his dream of playing in the Premier League.

Kluivert, the son of legendary Dutch striker Patrick Kluivert, is a key target for Fulham manager Marco Silva, who has been negotiating directly with Roma transfer chief Tiago Pinto.

The structure of the deal remains the final hurdle to overcome. Fulham’s latest offer is for a loan with an obligation to buy for £10million next summer, depending on appearances this season.

Fulham are keen to strengthen their wide position after new signing Manor Solomon suffered a serious knee injury in training.

They have also made enquiries to sign several other forwards including Brighton's Neal Maupay, Marseille's Bamba Dieng, Bayern Munich's Joshua Zirkzee and Bordeaux's Ui-jo Hwang.

Maupay currently favours a switch to Nottingham Forest, with Everton also in the race for the former Brentford man.

Fulham have also seen an approach for former striker Moussa Dembele, now at Lyon, rejected.
