Gary Cahill says confidence is so high at Chelsea that Antonio Conte's players feel like they cannot lose.
Chelsea have been in superb form in recent weeks, winning eight consecutive Premier League fixtures to climb to the top of the table.
The Blues swept Manchester City side at the weekend courtesy of goals from Diego Costa, Willian and Eden Hazard, sending out yet another statement of intent to their domestic rivals.
Chelsea have conceded just two goals during their winning run and Cahill has urged his teammates to keep working as they attempt to extend their lead at the summit.
"Every time we go out on to the pitch it’s like we can’t lose but it’s a nice pressure to have on ourselves," Cahill told the club's official website.
"We’re going into a period which is going to be busy for everyone and during those games we need to keep going.
"We’re in a good moment so we need to keep that momentum, keep everyone fresh, keep everyone on the pitch and keep getting results."
Conte's decision to switch to a 3-4-3 formation has been central to Chelsea's upturn in fortunes and even an enforced change failed to knock Chelsea off their stride at the Etihad Stadium.
Cesc Fabregas slotted into the system seamlessly and Cahill is adamant the Blues have enough quality in their ranks to chop and change personnel.
"We’ve worked well together and we know how to play that system.
"A lot of changes to the team maybe disrupts that a little bit, but at the same time we’ve seen the quality we have," he added.
