Gerard Pique managed to wind up Barcelona team-mates Luis Suarez, Marc Bartra and Douglas in the space of a few minutes on Twitter.
As he sat on the bus on the way to Tuesday’s Champions League match against BATE Borisov Pique encouraged his fans to send their questions to him.
His colleagues were probably wishing he hadn’t as he carved a path of gentle abuse through them.
Pique certainly revealed he is not a fan of the great hipster follicular trend of 2015. When asked whether he would want a top knot in the style of team-mate Douglas he replied: “Porn-star hairstyles have never suited me.”

Next to feel the wrath was 24-year-old Bartra, who Pique revealed was his “pet” at the club.

But perhaps the toughest treatment of all was reserved for Ballon d’Or candidate Luis Suarez, who Pique revealed to be the greediest at the Camp Nou. With the striker’s well-documented troubles with his teeth in the past that may come as no surprise.

Unfortunately for all the Pique fans out there the defender also revealed that his favourite band is the anodyne pop-rock of Coldplay. How his wife Shakira would react, we can only speculate.
