Jamie Vardy came off the bench to score his first goal for England as Roy Hodgson’s side fought back from two-goals down to claim a memorable victory in Berlin.

Goals from Toni Kroos and Mario Gomez had put Joachim Low’s side in the driving seat, before Tottenham striker Harry Kane pulled one back just before the hour mark with a well taken strike following a beautifully executed Cruyff turn, just days after the Dutch legend sadly passed away.

Vardy, brought on as a second half substitute, flicked home an equaliser for England, before Eric Dier’s stoppage-time bullet header won the match.
