Glenn Hoddle will today be named Tottenham's greatest player of all time.
The Spurs legend received his award at a media event in central London following a vote from ex professionals, managers and supporters at the launch of Harry Harris' new book, Down Memory Lane.
Hoddle made 490 appearances for the club over 12 years before returning as manager in 2001.
“I would first of all like to thank everybody who voted for me," said Hoddle. "I am very proud to have come out with the most marks, very proud indeed.

“There have been some truly wonderful players down the years at Tottenham and that is what makes me feel so very proud to hear about this vote from so many players, and the fans.
“I have supported Spurs since the age of eight years old; the club is part of my life, which makes it even more special.”
The announcement follows yesterday's unveiling of Tottenham's greatest team of all time, which sees Hoddle line up alongside the likes of Pat Jennings, Jimmy Greaves and Paul Gascoigne.
