Chelsea's interim manager Guus Hiddink has revealed his plans to retire from coaching once his spell at Stamford Bridge ends this summer.

The Blues appointed Hiddink for the second time in December following Chelsea's decision to part ways with Jose Mourinho as the Premier League champions languished just a few points above the relegation zone.

Hiddink has successfully got the club back on track and, until Chelsea's loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League in midweek, the team were unbeaten in 12 matches in all competitions.

Despite his work in helping steer Chelsea back on track in the last three months, Hiddink has revealed he does not see himself coaching another side after he leaves the Blues at the end of the season.

"I feel fit, I feel fresh and, every morning, I go with a smile," he said. "Although we have a difficult time when there's a loss, I love to go to Cobham, to the training field, so I feel fresh.

"On the other hand, young people must take over and I must retreat a bit. I will visit Chelsea often next season but I'm not thinking of working elsewhere."

Although Hiddink sees himself retiring in the summer, Chelsea midfielder Oscar told The Sunday Times he believes the Dutchman could stay on at the club for another season.

"Based on how well Guus has been doing so far, he could very well stay," the Brazilian said. "He's a very nice guy. Very smiley. He always looks to create a happy, positive environment."
