Harry Kane admits it is ‘flattering’ to be attracted interest from Manchester United, but insists his future lies with Tottenham.

Louis van Gaal’s side have reportedly lined-up a £45 million bid for the striker, currently competing at this summer’s European Under 21 championships, scored 31 goals in all competitions for Tottenham last season.

Kane started England’s 1-0 opening defeat to Portugal on Thursday night and, while he admits interest from Old Trafford is flattering, the PFA Player of the Year says he plans to stay at Tottenham.

"I am happy at Spurs and I look forward to the future with Spurs," he said.

"I have seen there is interest but that's all I know. It is flattering for other clubs to maybe be interested."

“Tottenham are one of the big clubs. That is the way people have to see it. I am at a big club."
