Harry Kane was ecstatic after his Tottenham side scored twice in stoppage time to come from behind and beat Leicester 3-2.

The Foxes looked to be in complete control at the King Power, and were still ahead deep into stoppage-time.

But Steven Bergwijn netted in the 95th minute to equalise and then went round Kasper Schmeichel to score a 97th-minute winner in an astonishing conclusion.

Kane scored Tottenham’s opening goal of the match and was unlucky not to score more than one, but he was thrilled with how Spurs fought back late on.

“What a rollercoaster of emotions that was,” Kane said.

“Overall I think we fully deserved the victory to be honest. We were the better side, disappointed to go 2-1 down with 15 minutes to go but we were creating chances. You’ve just got to never give up.

“To get two goals like that in stoppage time, it’s a game you’ll never forget for the rest of your career.”

Bergwijn was brought on with ten minutes remaining and certainly made the most of the time Antonio Conte gave him on the pitch.

“If I come on, I want to show myself and today I scored two goals - I’m really happy,” Bergwijn said.

“We need to build from this. We showed we’re a team to come back from 2-1 down.”
