Former Spurs manager Harry Redknapp has tipped Gareth Bale to stay at his former club for another year.
Despite fierce speculation about the winger's reported move to Real Madrid, the QPR boss reckons Bale still has a lot to stay for at Tottenham.
Redknapp, speaking to Sports Direct, said: "Spurs are within touching distance of becoming a Champions League club and Gareth has much to do with that.
"I think he's very happy at the club and although there's a lot of speculation I really don't see him leaving.
"Real Madrid appear to be very keen but it would surprise me if having seen the club show their ambition this summer with some big signings, he were to leave. I hope not."
Spurs fans will be delighted with the news, with many considering Bale to be their side's key player.
