Jonathan Gorrie3 February 2024

Cape Verde and South Africa, two surprises of this year’s Africa Cup of Nations, meet in the quarter-finals later today.

The Blue Sharks are ranked 77th in the world but sailed through a group also involving Ghana and beat Mauritania to get here. Momentum looks with them, albeit this tournament continues to throw up all manner of shocks.

Bafana Bafana, meanwhile, pulled off perhaps the biggest AFCON shock thus far when they defeated favourites Morocco earlier this week.

Here’s how to watch all the action later today.
