Cristiano Ronaldo today ended speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League by committing his future to Real Madrid.

Ronaldo has been linked with Manchester United and Manchester City since admitting he was unhappy in Spain but says he wants to see out his contract at the Bernabeu.

The 27-year-old’s current deal expires in 2015 and he said: “I want to see out my contract at Real Madrid. I am very clear about that.

“After that, well, I don’t know what will happen in the future.”

Madrid face Manchester United in the last 16 of the Champions League next month. Ronaldo said: “It is not going to be easy. The odds are about 50-50 but I am still very confident.”
