Ian Holloway is ready for Premier League job

11 April 2012

Blackpool defender Ian Evatt believes manager Ian Holloway is good enough for the Premier League after guiding the club into tomorrow's Championship play-off final against Cardiff at Wembley.

Former QPR boss Holloway took over at Bloomfield Road last summer and has masterminded Blackpool's rise from relegation favourites to the brink of the Premier League.

"It's been crazy, really," said Evatt. "The gaffer came in during pre-season and picked the boys up straightaway.

"I've never seen a team improve so much, right from pre-season to end of the season. The gaffer has to take a lot of the credit for that because the boys have responded to him so well.

"He deserves to be a Premier League manager."
