'In football there are no two matches the same' - Chelsea's Jose Mourinho cautious ahead of FA Cup

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has gathered his side’s momentum for another vital game and expressed his desire for Wembley success in the FA Cup.

The Premier League leaders, who have enjoyed an unbeaten start to 2014 - travel to rivals Manchester City for a place in the last eight of the competition.

Speaking ahead of the fifth round weekend, Mourinho pinned hopes for a repeat of the 1-0 League victory the Blues recorded at the Etihad just 12 days ago- but warned it will be no easy feat.

“We know we can beat them but we are not stupid. We know they can beat us too. They are a strong team and the other day we played amazingly well but in football there are no two matches the same," he added.

As well as the crunch tie in Manchester between the title favourites, the other two occupants of the Premier League top four - Liverpool and Arsenal – lock horns.

The Portuguese, who won the first FA Cup at the new Wembley in 2007, believes it makes the weekend ahead extra special: “In this round many things can be decided. You will only have two big teams in the quarter-finals.

“Chelsea or City, Arsenal or Liverpool. So the quarter-final will be between two big teams that succeed in this round plus six outsiders.”

Chelsea are likely to make a number of changes against Manuel Pellegrini’s team with skipper John Terry in the frame for a return following a minor injury.

Mourinho will also wait to assess the fitness of Gary Cahill, who picked up a calf injury during the 1-1 midweek draw at West Brom, while keeper Mark Schwarzer should start.
