Inter Milan have won the Serie A title, with Antonio Conte ending Juventus’ nine-year run as champion s of Italy.

Juve had been hoping to make it a decade of dominace in Italy, but the Bianconeri have slipped well off the pace this season.

Inter have boasted a commanding lead over the chasing pack, and Atalanta’s 1-1 draw at Sassuolo today sent them second - but the result means Inter are 13 points ahead of them with four games remaining.

The Narezzurri have therefore been crowned champions for the first time in 11 years, with Conte winning the Italian title for the fourth time as a manager after guiding Juve to the title in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Conte also won the Premier League title at Chelsea in 2017, with his latest success marking him out once again as one of Europe’s top coaches.

Inter have dominated the Italian top flight this term, winning 25 of their 34 games so far, drawing seven times and losing just twice, also boasting a goal difference of +45.
