England have retained their Toulon Tournament title after defeating the Ivory Coast on penalties at the Stade De Lattre on Saturday afternoon.

England's side, consisting of Under-18 players, hold onto the trophy that they won for the first time in 22 years in 2016.

The win caps off another superb tournament for England, who booked their place in the final by defeating Scotland 3-0 in the semi-finals while the Ivory Coast Under-20s beat the Czech Republic 2-1.

Last year, Chelsea academy graduates Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Lewis Baker scored the goals against France that handed the Three Lions their first victory in the Toulon Tournament since 1994.

England fans will now be hoping their Under-20s side follow up the Under-18s' success when they take on Venezuela in the World Cup final in South Korea on Sunday.

New Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke scored twice to help England come from behind to secure a 3-1 semi-final win over Italy on Thursday while Venezuela beat Uruguay on penalties to reach their first Fifa World Cup final.
