Kosovo manager Bernard Challandes became an instant hit during England's victory on Tuesday when spotting a TV camera during a mid-match rant.

Challandes could not hide his anger at half-time having seen his team concede five goals after taking a shock lead with just 34 seconds on the clock.

Cameras caught Challandes shouted "terrible" during the mid-match break and was also fuming about Jadon Sancho's second goal, which the manager insisted should have been ruled out for offside.

Kosovo went on to reduce the deficit in the second half as England's defence endured a torrid evening, conceding three times in a home game for the first time in seven years.

Challandes was positive about the performance of his Kosovo team - ranked 120 in the world - after the game.

"Our idea was immediately to press England for surprise and, OK, we win this ball - or they give us the ball - it's 1-0. It's perfect for us.

"But after clearly England were very strong and played a very good half.

"Second half was good for us. If I do British humour, we have won 2-0 and who has won 2-0 against England in one half? Who is the last team?"
