Blues finally back to winning ways

Frank Lampard has responded to the Chelsea fans who appeared to boo both Raheem Sterling and Hakim Ziyech during Saturday’s win over Bournemouth.

The Blues won for the first time since March with Lampard finally ending his miserable run of six defeats in as many games during his second stint in charge of the club.

Conor Gallagher, Benoit Badiashile and Joao Felix all scored at the Vitality Stadium to offer some hope of finishing what has been a dreadful season on a slightly more positive note.

Still, sections of the traveling support appeared to boo the introductions of Sterling and Ziyech in the second-half.

Both players registered assists for Badiashile and Felix respectively and Lampard is certain their form will improve for the club.

“They’re two players, Hakim and Raheem, that want to do well as football players and they have big talent both of them,” he said.

“If it’s form, it’s very much temporary and I think their class is permanent and I’m pleased for them today having an impact when they came on.”
