Leyton Orient able to weigh both sides of the Harry Kane loan deal

Form: Orient are delighted with Harry Kane

Leyton Orient are stuck in something of a quandary as far as their relationship with Tottenham is concerned.

On the one hand, they are deeply unhappy over the threat of Spurs - or West Ham - getting the Olympic Stadium, which could prove so damaging for the League One club.

On the other hand, Orient are delighted with Harry Kane, who is on loan from Spurs.

The teenager scored a debut goal in the 4-0 thrashing of Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday and an army of scouts are expected to watch him against MK Dons tonight.

Alongside Kane in the Orient team is another Spurs loanee, Paul-Jose M'Poku, who was also on the scoresheet at the weekend.

Orient don't want to harm the loan agreements but they won't lie down regarding the Olympic site.

The latest statement says: "A huge question mark hangs over our long-term viability at Brisbane Road with the move of another professional football club to within a mile of what has been our home since 1937."
