Leyton Orient get their League One campaign up and running with a trip to face Charlton on the opening day.

Having waltzed to the League Two crown last season, Richie Wellens and his side are handed a difficult start, with three away trips in the first four games.

After visiting Charlton and then hosting Portsmouth, Orient will travel to face Wycombe and Blackpool in the space of a few days.

The festive schedule will see the O’s host Charlton on Boxing Day, having played Bolton away from home on December 23 to continue their first season in the third tier in almost a decade.

The first reunion with a fellow promoted side does not come until October 14, with a trip to Carlisle.

Were Orient to have anything riding on the final run towards the back end of the season, Wellens will have to navigate games against Derby, Fleetwood and Shrewsbury during the closing few weeks.

Here is a look at the fixtures in full.
