Carlos Bacca has identified Liverpool as a ‘good team with a good project’ with Brendan Rodgers set to move for the Sevilla striker.

Having completed the signing of Brazil international Firmino for £29 million this week, Liverpool will make a move for the Europa League winner who scored 28 goals in 57 games for the Spanish side last season.

With Raheem Sterling seemingly destined to leave Anfield this summer, with Manchester City set to make a third offer in the region of £50m for the forward, Rodgers is keen to bolster his attacking options.

And the striker’s agent, Sergio Barila, has revealed that the Reds are a club that interests his client.

“We are really looking at three things - number one is to have a happy family situation for his wife and son because he had a bad experience in Belgium,” Barila told the Guardian.

“The second is to find a good team with a good project. Before he went to Chile, we wrote down a list of clubs that fit that description and Liverpool was on that list.

“The third question is the contract. He has a good salary in Sevilla but we know how much clubs in England can pay.”
