London trio waiting in wings for Wilfried Zaha loan

Crystal Palace, Fulham and West Ham are waiting on Manchester United to see if they will loan out Wilfried Zaha for a second time.

The three London clubs have registered an interest in Zaha, as it is unclear whether he will figure in David Moyes’ first-team plans next season.

The winger became Sir Alex Ferguson’s final signing as United boss, sealing a move to Old Trafford in January, before returning on loan to help the Eagles gain promotion through the play-offs.

The Palace board have remained adamant they will allow their former starlet his shot with the champions, but co-chairman Steve Parish admitted he would hate to see the youngster loaned out elsewhere.

"We will be planning for life without him,” Parish told BBC Radio 4.

“If he does get loaned out to another Premier League club then obviously we would want to be in the mix."

And Fulham and West Ham are now chasing the 20-year-old, should Moyes decide he is surplus to requirements in his first full season at Old Trafford.

Zaha remains in south London ahead of his first day at Manchester United’s Carrington training facility next week.

In the meantime, interested clubs will have to wait for Moyes to assess his new winger before any decisions are made on his immediate future.
