In Pictures: Man City lift Premier League trophy as title party continues

Manchester City on Sunday celebrated winning a third Premier League title in a row after a routine win over Chelsea.

The 1-0 victory at the Etihad Stadium was played out in a party atmosphere after Arsenal's loss at Nottingham Forest on Saturday night. Julian Alvarez's first-half strike secured a 12th victory in a row and City's fifth title in six years.

The full-time whistle was met with a pitch invasion, delaying the trophy presentation as Kyle Walker warned City's rivals: "Rest assured we are not finished. We have the FA Cup against our bitter rivals and then the Champions League. We will celebrate tonight and then move on to try and create history.

"The treble would be fantastic but there is a lot of football to be played."

Should City beat Manchester United in the FA Cup final and then Inter Milan in the Champions League final, then they would match their rivals' unique treble of the 1998-99 campaign.

Jack Grealish added: "We have [felt invincible]. It's mad because I spoke to some of the lads not long ago and I said, 'Imagine if someone would have said to you to win the league you've got to go and win 12 games in a row'.

"I'm not saying I didn't think we could do it but it was going to be difficult. We've got so much talent in this squad and I think at the moment we feel unstoppable. And it doesn't stop here, we've still got some massive games coming up."

Erling Haaland danced with City fans and then described his debut season as "a dream". He added: "I don't know what to say. It's just unreal and I'm so happy.

"These are memories I will remember for the rest of my life. We've been fighting so hard. I'm just going to enjoy this day. It's such a special moment with this trophy and all the players and the whole club. It's amazing.

"Debut season, 36 goals so far, Premier League trophy and two finals left - not a bad start."
