Manchester City's fury at Munich chants

Manchester City will hold a series of meetings after repeated chants referring to the Munich air crash by supporters in their 1-0 at Blackburn last night.

Edin Dzeko scored his first Premier League goal but the night was marred by supporters' constant reference to the crash in 1958 when eight Manchester United players died.

A film highlighting the disaster was shown by the BBC this week and City's discussions seem certain to result in disciplinary action in an attempt to end such chanting, in the hope it can be avoided when they take part in the FA Cup Final against Stoke on May 14.
