Jose Mourinho will work as a pundit for Russia Today during this summer's World Cup, the broadcaster has announced.

The Manchester United manager will provide studio analysis and offer predictions from Moscow during the tournament in Russia.

The signing is a coup for the Russian government-backed broadcaster, who also secured the services of former United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel last year.

Mourinho said: "I am very happy to join the team at RT. I am looking forward to attending the World Cup in Russia this summer and sharing my insights into the games."

Mourinho has participated in a video for Russia Today to promote his involvement.
